I
received a copy of Compu-Crane with my crane, what do I do
now?
Once you receive the Compu-Crane software, insert the CD into
your computer and follow the on-screen directions to install
the software. You will be able to evaluate the software for
30 days. (NOTE: The 30 evaluation period will only be available
for those who are installing the software on their PC for
the first time.) When thirty days has expired, you will need
to register your software online. To do this, simply click
the "Authorized Software" button on the disclaimer
screen (start up screen). Once the authorization window appears,
click the "Obtain Site Key Using Internet" button,
you will need an internet connection. Fill out the form to
authorize the software. You can leave the Company ID blank
if this is the first time you have activated your software
online. Otherwise, you will have already received a company
ID. (You entitled to install Compu-Crane (CSPS) on 2 computers
with the purchase of your new Manitowoc Crane.)

Cannot see the outrigger loads
Make sure you are only trying to view outrigger loads from
main boom or fixed boom configurations for GMK model cranes
only. And verify that you have your Grove CD in the CD-ROM
drive. There is no data for outrigger loads for luffing jib
configurations.
If you still cannot view them please follow these steps:
1. Go to Start Menu (Start Button located at bottom left corner
of screen)
2. Click on Run
3. A new window will come up, type in regedit
into blank white space and click ok
4. A new window will come up. Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER
on left half of window. There will either be a plus sign or
a minus sign to the left of this. If it is a plus sign, click
on plus sign to turn into minus sign. You then want to look
for SOFTWARE and do the same thing, and then look for COMPU-CRANE
and do the same thing, then look for Defaults on the left
side of the window and click on the file folder. On the right
hand side you will see a list of files. Find the Outrigger
Directory file and delete it.
